KeyTrak to Show Police Chiefs How to Streamline Security at TPCA Conference

College Station, TX – March 19, 2013 – Founded in 1958, the Texas Police Chiefs Association (TPCA) works to promote and encourage the professional development of chiefs of police and senior police management personnel throughout the state of Texas. On March 26-29 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, TX, KeyTrak will attend the TPCA Conference to demo its key and asset management systems.

“KeyTrak knows the challenges facing the law enforcement community, especially when it comes to accountability and the need to be protected from liability,” said Vice President of Sales Richard Battle. “That’s why we offer an electronic key control system that provides law enforcement agencies a 100 percent verifiable audit trail and reduces the misuse of high-security keys and assets.”

The Guardian, KeyTrak’s total lockdown key control solution, allows police chiefs to automatically track and secure keys in a tamper-resistant panel. Employees can store assets such as firearms, radios and phones in lockers and assign multiple authorization levels to each user.

TPCA is a statewide law enforcement administrator's organization for Texas and, as such, it is concerned on a statewide basis with all issues involving the criminal justice system. The TPCA conference agenda this year will include topics on officer-involved shootings, chiefs’ best practices and responding to an active shooter.
