KeyTrak will be joining higher education housing officers at the exhibitor showcases for the Upper Midwest Region Association of College and University Housing Officers (UMR-ACUHO) conference November 9 in Madison, WI; and the Great Lakes Association of College and University Housing Officers (GLACUHO) conference November 14 in Cincinnati, OH. At the events, KeyTrak will educate attendees on how electronic key control systems reduce the risk of loss, liability and lawsuits.

"Our solutions not only reduce risk to the university but also give parents the peace of mind that comes from knowing the school is exercising due diligence in protecting their children," said KeyTrak Vice President of Sales Richard Battle.

KeyTrak's high-security Guardian Versatile Smart Panel (VSP) system helps protect properties by storing keys in a tamper-resistant steel panel. Only authorized users can access the keys using one or more authentication methods, such as the built-in fingerprint reader, an optional proximity card reader or user-specific passcodes. The moment a key is removed, the system creates a 100 percent automatic verifiable audit trail, keeping employees accountable and reducing the likelihood of the misuse of keys.
