The arrival of summer marks the season for the Alabama and Florida Sheriffs Association summer conferences, where KeyTrak will be showcasing its industry-leading key and asset management systems, including KeyTrak Guardian’s new 15-by-5-inch locker panel addition. From July 15 to 18, the Alabama Sheriffs Association 2012 Summer Training Conference will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orange Beach, AL. The Florida Sheriffs Association 2012 Annual Summer Conference will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL from July 29 to August 1.

“KeyTrak’s commitment to serving the law enforcement community was recently expanded with the introduction of a new 15-by-5-inch locker panel designed to provide controlled storage for items such as radios, cellphones and service weapons,” said Vice President of Sales Richard Battle. “This further develops the KeyTrak Guardian offering to provide more control and flexibility than any other key and asset control system on the market.”

In addition to providing secure storage for larger items, KeyTrak Guardian also allows users to lock down each key ring individually, preventing unauthorized users from physically obtaining keys. The traditional KeyTrak system employs a computerized drawer to secure keys and assets and records key transactions from the moment a user removes a key until it is returned.

Both KeyTrak and KeyTrak Guardian provide in-depth reporting, remote access capabilities and customizable alerts and alarms to help the law enforcement community create a streamlined process for generating a verifiable audit trail, performing administrative functions and reducing liability risks and security breaches.

The Alabama Sheriffs Association is an executive-level professional association comprised of 67 elected sheriffs that hold conferences twice a year to provide educational, legislative and legal assistance to sheriffs and their support staff, law enforcement and state agencies and vendors.

As a self-sustaining charitable organization, the Florida Sheriffs Association supports the needs of Florida’s citizens and the law enforcement community by fostering the effectiveness of sheriffs through leadership, innovative practices, legislative initiatives, education and training. Along with providing educational training programs and exhibits at the summer conference, the Florida Sheriffs Association will also feature motorcycle rides, a golf tournament and family activities.
