KeyTrak will attend the Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators (TACUPA) Conference to demonstrate its key and asset management systems June 1-4, 2014, in Corpus Christi, TX. TACUPA works to provide the highest quality law enforcement and public safety education, training and services to its member institutions throughout the state of Texas.

“KeyTrak knows the challenges facing college and university police, especially when it comes to accountability and the need to be protected from liability,” said Vice President of Sales Richard Battle. “That’s why we offer an electronic key control system that provides law enforcement organizations with a 100 percent automatic verifiable audit trail to reduce the misuse of high-security keys and assets.”

The KeyTrak and Guardian key and asset management systems use a computer system to control the time frames and individual user authorization used to gain access to highly sensitive material. KeyTrak systems have extensive reporting capabilities, which provide a convenient, streamlined process for limiting security breaches.

The Guardian, KeyTrak’s total lockdown key control solution, allows campus police to automatically track and secure keys in a tamper-resistant panel. Employees can store assets such as firearms, radios and phones in lockers and assign multiple authorization levels to each user. This commitment to the ethical protection of organizational integrity can benefit campus police and provide leadership with peace of mind.

Founded in 1964, TACUPA shares the broad purpose of all member institutions of higher learning for the discovery, preservation and transmission of knowledge through teaching, research and public service. The TACUPA conference agenda this year will look at the organization’s past 50 years, while preparing for the future.
