KeyTrak, Inc., the leading provider of key and asset management systems, will participate in the 26th Annual Police Security Expo 2012 (PSE) at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Jersey City, N.J., from June 26 to 27. PSE helps law enforcement professionals ensure that their security solutions are “Right on Target” by showcasing products and services that promote safety in the workplace and community. KeyTrak will offer a live demonstration of KeyTrak asset management systems on Tuesday, June 26, in room 307. Attendees may also view KeyTrak product demos in booth #839.

“Electronic key control can benefit law enforcement agencies,” said Carl Hanly, KeyTrak regional manager. “Regrettably, far too many law enforcement professionals realize the benefits of key control only after an incident involving the misuse of keys has already happened. KeyTrak knows the challenges facing the law enforcement community, especially when it comes to accountability and the need to be protected from liability.”

“KeyTrak has been an attendee at the Police Security Expo many times in the past,” said Hanly. “It has been a wonderful opportunity to meet with the law enforcement community and get to know future customers as well as say hello to our many current law enforcement customers, who are often attendees at this show.”

During its presentation on key control, KeyTrak will address how producing a verifiable audit trail can be vital not only to one’s career but to the perception of a company’s department, whether the organization is dealing with weapons, vehicles, secure spaces, the transportation of inmates or evidence.

The KeyTrak and Guardian key and asset management systems use a computer system to control the timeframes and individual user authorization used to gain access to highly sensitive material. KeyTrak systems, which have extensive reporting capabilities, provide a convenient, streamlined process for limiting security breaches.

PSE will also feature seminars and product demonstrations covering topics ranging from social media surveillance, to using interactive video communication to eliminate the need for prisoner transport, to how a law enforcement agency should respond to a line-of-duty death.

Hosted by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, PSE will feature more than 750 exhibits and approximately 7,500 law enforcement, security, government, safety, first-responder and homeland security professionals, many of whom will be looking to make purchasing decisions regarding products and services that will enhance the security of their respective organizations.
