KeyTrak, Inc., the leading provider of key and asset management systems, will be meeting with security professionals at the Global Security Exchange (GSX) — formerly the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits — September 23-27. Held in Las Vegas, the event allows attendees to learn and share security best practices and explore thousands of technologies. KeyTrak will demonstrate how its Guardian VSP 2.0 system helps organizations reduce insider threats by minimizing manual processes involved in managing physical keys and assets.

“A lot of organizations focus on cybersecurity, but ensuring the security of your physical keys and the assets they protect is also critical,” said KeyTrak Vice President of Sales Steve Robinson. “Insider threats are a real risk, and our goal is to help organizations reduce their liability by holding employees accountable for proper use of keys. To meet the unique needs of each organization, we provide on-site reviews before, during and after the sales process to tailor-make solutions.”

The customizable Guardian system is a wall-mounted panel that physically locks down keys, releasing them only to users who have been authenticated by KeyTrak’s software. Login methods include a password, proximity card and/or biometric fingerprint reader. To reduce insider threats, the system allows administrators to automatically enforce access levels by creating user profiles with unique permissions. It creates a verifiable audit trail of every transaction.
