KeyTrak, Inc., the leading provider of key management systems, will offer demonstrations of its updated Guardian key control software at the annual conferences sponsored by the Association of College and University Housing Officers upper Midwest (UMR-ACUHO), mid-Atlantic (MACUHO) and Great Lakes (GLACUHO) regions. During the shows — which occur October 23-25, November 6-8 and November 17-19, respectively — attendees will be able to preview the features of the updated software, including intelligent yet secure reservation capabilities.

“Safe housing is a primary concern for parents of students,” said KeyTrak Vice President of Sales Richard Battle. “We are looking forward to showing university and housing officers how they can use the Guardian system to do more with less through improved efficiency, reduced risk of liability and better protection and service for tenants. With more 25 years in the key control business, we’re well acquainted with these security concerns and know how to address them.”

With the new Guardian software, users will be able to check the availability of specific key tags before completing the reservation process. If they wish to assign two different keys on the same key tag to different users at the same time, they will be able to complete reservations at the key level as opposed to the tag level.
