KeyTrak to Introduce EP and VSP Systems at NADA
To accommodate dealerships with smaller inventories, KeyTrak Inc., the leading provider of key and asset management systems, will demo its new Entry Plus (EP) system and Guardian Versatile SmartPanel (VSP) system at the 2013 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention and Expo. Both systems will provide dealers with more space efficiency.
“The EP and VSP were designed to meet the demand for a flexible, space-efficient system that maintained the technological standards and customizable features of the traditional KeyTrak and KeyTrak Guardian systems,” explained Vice President of Sales Richard Battle.
The EP system will come with one drawer, which holds up to 96 keys, and will provide users the same extensive reporting capabilities and streamlined process to track and secure keys and assets as the classic KeyTrak system.
The VSP system is a compact alternative to the traditional Guardian system to accommodate clients who wish to avoid purchasing space they do not need. The standard KeyTrak Guardian consists of two panels — a key panel that holds 40 key rings and a SmartPanel that consists of a touchscreen and fingerprint reader. The VSP system combines the two panels, with a key ring capacity to 24 rings.
In addition to space efficiency, the VSP provides all the features of the standard Guardian system: a touchscreen interface, fingerprint reader, security camera, text alerts for unauthorized key checkouts or overdue keys, the ability to network multiple Guardian systems and the option to purchase more key panels for growing facilities.
