For the second time this year, KeyTrak, the leading provider of key and asset management systems, will be meeting with higher education housing officers to offer demonstrations of its electronic key control systems. The demonstrations will be available at the Association of College and University Housing Officers Upper Midwest (UMR-ACUHO) conference October 21-23 in La Crosse, WI; and at the Mid-Atlantic Association of College and University Housing Officers (MACUHO) conference October 28-30 in State College, PA.

“Part of housing officers’ missions is to do what they can to keep students safe,” said KeyTrak Vice President of Sales Richard Battle. “Our solutions help them meet that goal while reducing their property’s risk of loss, liability and lawsuits.”

KeyTrak’s high-security Guardian Versatile Smart Panel (VSP) systems help protect properties by storing keys in a tamper-resistant steel panel. Only authorized users can access the keys using one or more authentication methods, such as the built-in fingerprint reader, an optional proximity card reader or user-specific passcodes. When a key is removed, the Guardian system creates a 100 percent automatic verifiable audit trail, reducing the risk of security breaches.
